Module Aims
On successful completion, students should have an understanding of the examination, treatment and patient journey of key clinical conditions pertaining to cases presented in the Case-Based Learning module (BI2D001). BI2S120 Clinical Practice should present the content in a case-based, problem-solving approach using didactic, practical, work-based learning and facilitative methods.
In engaging with the module appropriately, students will fully achieve the following level-appropriate Behaviour Domains of the USW Graduate Attributes:

Content Summary
Students will develop an understanding of how to take focused patient histories and study key clinical examination techniques. They will develop an appreciation of how the multi-disciplinary teams helps a patient along their journey.
Using an integrated case-based, problem-solving learning approach (and an intensive 1-week placement in a hospital environment) students will study clinical cases involving:

The Musculoskeletal System
The Nervous System
The Renal System
