Module Aims

To develop competences in critical appraisal of research methodology and evidence-based literature

To enable students to understand the professional standards required to be a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist

To enable students to demonstrate a critical awareness of ethical and legal frameworks and issues relating to diverse client groups. practice settings and cognitive-behavioural practice.

To develop competence in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy skills via clinical supervision and supervised CBT Practice.

Content Summary

This module content is based upon latest best practice and associated evidence base for Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy Theory, Principles and Practise in line with BABCP minimum training standards Layout 1 (babcp.com)
