Module Aims
To introduce the different concepts and construction techniques used in construction and civil engineering and give an insight into the principal construction and civil engineering operations.
To undertake measurement of more advanced nature (roofing, reinforced concrete, foundations/groundworks, masonry inter alia) in accordance with measurement rules and develop and broaden the students’ measurement skills.

To undertake measurement and produce Bills of Quantities of a more advanced nature.
An introduction to non-domestic and more complex constructional structures.
