Synthesise applied theoretical and methodological knowledge in the context of an extended piece of research.

Content Summary

The research project module offers students the opportunity to conduct in-depth enquiry into an aspect of TESOL education. Their topic and approach must be agreed with a member of the module team who will act as supervisor.

Students may use action research methods, i.e. on investigations undertaken through engagement in relevant professional activities and subsequent critical reflection. Alternatively, they may work from qualitative or quantitative data to explore a
