Module Aims

To develop the student’s knowledge, experience and skills in relation to professional practice. This includes critical reflective practice, enhancing one’s professional development and working towards effective communication in a wide range of health, wellbeing and social care settings.

This is to increase employability and career progression (including leadership and management) in health, wellbeing and social care positions.

Content Summary

The module focuses on the development of students’ employability skills and experiences through various real and simulated activities resulting in a portfolio of resources and evidence.

The content is delivered through lectures and workshops in collaboration with organisations and guest speaker practitioners where students are encouraged to network and connect accordingly.

*Where work-based learning is not possible, evidence of continuous professional development will be required.
