Module Aims

This module aims to help students reflect on the professional skills they have developed and will need to continue to develop to improve their employability and prepare themselves for the workplace.
The module will also integrate with material from CMI to help signpost students to resources to continue their professional development in future.

Content Summary

The module will begin with an induction session which addresses many of the key aspects of the module and the assessment requirements.

Following that, the module will include a range of topics related to employment and employability, including obtaining a job, workplace culture and communication, problem solving and managing changes in the workplace, ongoing professional development, and employment competencies linked to the CMI.

The module will integrate with material from CMI, and will also involve students completing a personal SWOT analysis and personal development plan to increase their own employability.
