Module Aims

1. To provide students with the opportunity to work on an simulated industry project
2. To successfully evaluate knowledge and theory to 'real' problems encountered in working as part of a collaborative team.
3. To provide an opportunity for students to communicate and cultivate a deeper understanding of collaborative working and project management.

Content Summary

Designers never work in isolation, be it collaboration as a design team, with other disciplines or with a client, designers need key skills in coloration and communication. As this module directly proceeds the final year of the course or sandwich year is important to recogonise the key roll of collaboration in ensuring the success of any project.

Throughout this module students will be given instruction on how to build, manage and lead teams along with tools to evaluate and manage a project.

This simulated industry project allows students to encounter and overcome the issues that they will face working in the creative industries.
