Module Aims
• Enable students to develop and hone professional skills through direct workplace experience.
• Critically evaluate own workplace practice, reflecting upon own learning needs within this context.
Content Summary
This module focuses on graduate attributes for employability within the fashion or beauty and/or marketing/communications industry.
The module presents students with two potential pathways:
Option 1: 70-hour work placement with industry employer. OR
Option 2: Professional workplace engagement activity - live client brief
The module also develops students’ wider skill-sets relevant to employability, including assessment day/interview skills, career workshops, sessions with USW Careers and Enterprise Teams, networking with industry, professional portfolio preparation.
Disclamer: 25% of the module is delivered in Welsh language.
