Module Aims
This module explores cosmetic and aesthetic approaches to anti-ageing, focusing on evidence-based practices that enhance patients' well-being and self-esteem. Participants will investigate various non-invasive and minimally invasive techniques, critically assessing their efficacy, safety, and ethical considerations. The module aims to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge to advise patients on the latest cosmetic interventions while prioritising patient safety and informed decision-making.

The skin and ageing
Topical therapies: cosmeceuticals and peels
Injectable therapies: toxins and fillers
Other therapies: platelet-rich plasma therapy, mesotherapy, body sculpting and lipolysis
Non-surgical hair restoration and treatment of hirsutism
Ethical considerations, complications, and patient support.
