Module Aims
Demonstrate evidence of prior learning by planning, organising, and implementing practical, technical, and professional skills to create a self-realised project.
Support the ability to develop imaginative and skilful approaches to media, methods and processes employed in the creation of a resolved body of work.
Produce a refined and resolved body of work which communicates an idea and concept that links to specific concerns and/or relates to developing career plans.
Develop an understanding between personal practice within the wider context of professional contemporary photographic practice.
Demonstrate awareness of an audience or client in relation to the work produced and how communicates concerns in an appropriate context.
Content Summary
This module provides an opportunity for students to integrate their ideas, creativity, strategic thinking, communication, visualisation, and presentation skills to demonstrate their technical ability, knowledge, understanding.
This conceptual maturity should be evidenced in the production of a comprehensive and resolved cumulative project. This module should represent the students’ expression of aspiration, knowledge and skill and is the synthesis of all learning on the programme to date.
