Module Aims

This module aims to develop a systematic and advanced understanding of the process of diagnosing ADHD, and managing it in a primary care setting, focusing on the presentation, assessment, diagnosis and management of ADHD by exploring differential diagnoses, use of diagnostic tools, and collaboration with specialists.

Week 1 - ADHD Diagnosis and classification 

Week 2 - Child assessment 

Week 3 - Adult assessment (including specifically separate section ADHD in women and girls) 

Week 4 - ADHD and comorbidities 

Week 5 - Non-pharmacological management (parent Training / CBT / coaching) 

Week 6 - Pharmacological treatment (stimulant and non-stimulant medication)
