The module will introduce students to Criminal Law.

The module will provide a basis for students to:

1.    Understand the basic elements of crime.

2.    Develop knowledge of various offences and general defences for each

·         Introduction to fatal offences

·         Introduction to non-fatal offences.

·         Introduction to the law relating to defences

·         Sentencing.
