Module Aims

The main aims of the module are: 

  • To equip students with an understanding of key principles and tools of marketing communications and content. 

  • To develop students’ ability to create campaign outputs. 

Content Summary

Marketing communications are a crucial tool in facilitating connections and relationships with target audiences. Having established a solid foundation in marketing and consumer behaviour concepts, this module introduces students to central theoretical and practical elements of marketing communications and campaign planning. These elements include campaign ideation and planning, content creation, messaging style and various tools of communication. As creativity lies at the heart of communications, students will be encouraged to apply creativity principles to campaign outputs. This module is strategically delivered at the end of the first year as it allows students to apply foundational knowledge in developing a crucial skill in marketing – communication!
