To build students networks related to entrepreneurship and develop their confidence in sharing their own business ideas
Content Summary
This module is designed for students who aim to start their own entrepreneurial ventures following graduation, and guides students step-by-step through the strategic and practical considerations necessary when starting a new business. Students will explore case studies of successful and unsuccessful startups, hear from graduates and entrepreneurs who have launched their own businesses, and develop networks of business partners that can assist in the startup process.
Using Osterwalder’s Business Model Canvas as a foundation, students will explore their own business plans – identifying the legal, financial, marketing and practical challenges that all startup businesses face, and developing solutions to those challenges – with the goal that all students will complete this module prepared to start and succeed in their own entrepreneurial ventures.
