Content Summary
Are you ready to take your understanding of inclusive education to the next level? This module builds on foundational knowledge to develop advanced skills in planning, delivering, and evaluating inclusive Physical Education (PE) and health-focused lessons. You’ll explore strategies for promoting equity, mental health, and wellbeing in diverse school settings, while critically reflecting on pedagogical decisions to ensure best practice.
Through seminars, practical workshops, and challenge-based learning, you’ll design an Inclusive PE Scheme of Work supported by formative tasks that scaffold your learning journey. Distinctive features include micro-teaching, digital resource creation, and peer feedback. You’ll also engage with contemporary issues such as cultural competence, SEND adaptations, and cross-curricular health promotion, ensuring your approach is inclusive and evidence-based.
