Module Aims

The main aims of the module are: 

  • Develop creative skills?to plan and execute compelling narratives.  

  • Enhance storytelling and communication?skills across multiple media formats. 

  • Develop project management skills for the media industry. 

 

Content Summary

This module explores the principles of?creative direction, visual storytelling, visual communications and fashion photography, generative AI and emerging technology. Students learn to craft compelling narratives that connect with audiences across digital and print platforms. This module takes an in-depth look at fashion media and allows students to create their own narrative and to tell their own stories. Through hands-on workshops and project-based learning, learners develop creative concepts through visual and written content. The module culminates in the production of a?creative media output, synthesising photography, design, and storytelling, where students choose to demonstrate skills in visual communication, creative strategy, and editorial curation.
