To develop advanced knowledge of the diagnosis, investigation, and management of acute neurological emergencies and chronic neurological disease.

Content Summary
This module develops advanced knowledge and clinical reasoning across acute neurological emergencies and chronic neurological disease. Neurological presentations, from stroke and seizure to neurodegenerative and demyelinating disease, are among the most time-critical and diagnostically complex encountered in internal medicine, making this module essential to the programme's aim of developing safe, analytically rigorous clinical practice.
The module places particular emphasis on the synthesis of investigation findings, clinical evidence, and ethical principles in the management of complex neurological conditions; skills that complement those developed across the wider programme.
