Module Aims

The module aims to extend the student’s knowledge of video systems to include current broadcast system designs and workflows. It will consider the development of camera and lenses technology and the impact that has on image capture. The use of AR, VR and Motion Capture are also key parts of the broadcasters remit and this will be explored in the live environment. The highest level of production quality requires very reliable and complex systems to provide the working environment required by production process. As technology advances with UHD2 now becoming a reality, the solutions to create, store and display become ever more complex.
