Module Aims

To enable students to understand the role of their profession in health promotion, health education and preventing ill-health.

To co-design, facilitate and evaluate a short music for wellbeing project.

Content Summary

Students will learn about a range of models of health and wellbeing and how music-making and music therapy interacts with these. Project management skills including professional communication and ethical practice will also form part of this module. Students will conduct and evaluate a live project in their community.
