Module Aims

To provide students with an understanding of the main theories/theorists of Child Psychology.

Content Summary

This module will enable students to further their knowledge and understanding of child psychology and the theories related to child psychology. The module will explore current theoretical developmental perspectives including those related to behaviour, attachment, language, cognition, social and emotional development within children. Students will examine a wide range of theories and will make comparisons of these and study how they relate to different situations.
