Module Aims

To introduce students to the application of psychology within the workplace.

Content Summary

This module will develop students' understanding of the practical application of psychology within a range of work settings; students will develop their understanding of human behaviour and ethical issues, along with the consideration and application of psychological techniques and theories in a number of work related scenarios. Topics covered will include; relationships, child care and attachment, health beliefs and attitudes and will be based on simulations of nursery, hospital and community healthcare settings and will show students how they may work in a variety of roles related to Psychology.
